Umoja Is A Free Downloadable Coloring Book For The Family
In response to COVID-19, an increase in remote learning, and an overall lack of art in our public school system, Richard Beavers Gallery has created a collectible coloring book in collaboration with Bklyn Combine for the youngest to the eldest art lover in every household. One of the seven core principles of Kwanzaa, UMOJA is the Swahili word for "unity". It means to strive for and maintain unity in the family, community, nation, and race. This book will hopefully bring out the artist inside of us all.
The artworks included in this UMOJA coloring book were generously shared by a collective of internationally acclaimed artists invested in the future of our creative community.
